Dauphin Dems
The Dauphin County Democratic Committee (DCDC) is seeking talented interns. Our internships are great opportunities to become familiar with the political process. Intern activities constitute a well-rounded experience which includes administrative duties, networking, research and more! We welcome applicants with backgrounds in political science, social work, public policy, marketing, finance, communications, business, and other relevant fields.

Communications

Assists in compiling weekly e-blasts containing relevant news stories and upcoming events (training will be provided).

Maintains our social media accounts.

Posts to our website DCDC news, events, and stories of state-wide and national importance.

Helps expand DCDC's social media presence.
Administrative Assistant
-
Maintains committee member/volunteer directories & creates lists in Votebuilder (training will be provided).

Plans events, including the annual Endorsement Meeting in March.

Answers phone calls.

Helps coordinate and improve our party services and DCDC's relationships with local party organizations, elected officials, and campaigns.
Research/Fundraising

Plans and manages events.

Researches potential and current donors.

Compiles relevant data.

Donor research.

Creating fundraising email templates.
